          study. Figure 1 displays the breakdown of all patients by
          type. Nearly half (114; 44.9%) of patients encountered
          during the study period were law enforcement officers,
          followed by suspects (83; 32.7%), then bystanders (53;
          20.9%), and, last, ATF-owned dogs (4; 1.6%).

                                                             A total of 227 separate clinical interventions were per-
                                                             formed during the study period. The most common in-
                                                             tervention was wound care (61; 26.9%), followed by
                                                             control of bleeding with direct pressure (43; 18.9%) and
                                                             application of heat or cold packs (25; 11.0%). All of the
                                                             interventions performed are displayed in Table 1. Of a
                                                             total of 111 medications administered during the study
                                                             period, the most common were ibuprofen (28; 25.2%),
