Jomathan’s large animal translational research laboratory
investigates vascular injury, hemorrhage control, and resusci-
tation techniques. He has obtained more than $4 million in
Department of Defense and industry grants over the past 3
years, enabling him to undertake research into techniques such
as selective aortic arch perfusion and temporary intravascular
shunts. He has mentored five residents over 3 years and pub-
lished more than 100 peer-reviewed publications on endovas-
cular techniques, resuscitation, and hemorrhage control.
