“The JSOM has served as the voice of battlefield
trauma care for over a decade and has served as the
CoTCCC’s most important strategic messaging part-
ner. From 2013 until the present, the JSOM has pub-
lished all of the papers that document new changes
to the TCCC guidelines, as well as CoTCCC meeting
minutes and TCCC updates. The JSOM’s integration
of TCCC changes into the permanent, indexed, and
searchable medical literature is critical for the his-
torical record, as well as providing readily accessible
references for all TCCC users around the world.”

COL (Ret) Jim Geracci is an experienced operational Ms Barrigan has served as the principal investigator

the development of the updated TCCC curricula with
the recent release of TCCC for All Service Members
(TCCC-ASM). Her vision of combining up-to-date ed-
ucation methodology with web-mobile based– platforms
tailored to the next generation of medics, corpsman,
and pararescuemen is key to the future of TCCC.
