(e) Hand: Make a 5cm longitudinal incision between the 2nd and 3rd, and the
3rd and 4th metacarpals on the dorsal aspect of the hand as shown in Figure
SECTION 1 (f) Leave all wounds open and apply dressings.
4. Avoid cutting the extensor tendons. Split the underlying fascia.
